Quality and Operation Specialist


Key responsibilities:

Quality Mechanism Management

  • Responsible for the construction, implementation and supervision of the quality management system and process mechanism in the region, ensuring compliance with the standards of the company headquarters, and ensuring the overall high-quality operation of the region through quantitative KPIs and performance inspections and audits.
  • Manage risk identification, resolution and rectification in the region, organize investigations and analysis and promote major quality anomalies, regularly organize quality training and promotion, and enhance the quality awareness of regional employees.

Operational support

  • Participate in the optimization and standardization of regional operational processes, assist in improving efficiency and customer satisfaction, especially the construction and adaptation of key processes such as LTC and IDS, and ensure efficient operation of processes by clarifying process owners and key control points
  • Support the establishment of quality systems for various departments of the regional department, coordinate the quality communication mechanism between the headquarters and the regional department, and between the regional department and the representative office, and ensure information flow; promote the implementation and feedback loop of the headquarters' operational strategy in the region
  • Monitor key operating indicators (KPIs), including operating indicators, COPQ, quality and EHS, etc.

Continuous improvement and optimization

  • Digital construction, through digital tools, AI and other applications, continuously improve the efficiency of various business modules in the region and improve operational quality
  • Track the achievement of regional quality and operational improvement goals, and review them regularly

Compliance management

  • Lead the compliance management in the region, establish and implement the compliance system based on the overall requirements of the company, supervise the implementation results, strictly avoid the company's red line problems, and establish a good compliance atmosphere in the region through publicity and training.

Qualification and expertise:

  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Chinese Mandarin, French and English is typically required for communication and reporting.
  • Background: A bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, or a related field, with a focus on energy, utilities, or environmental science preferred.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in project coordination or management preferred, ideally within the energy sector (renewable energy, utilities, oil & gas, or power generation). Familiarity with large-scale infrastructure projects is an advantage.
  • Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management software (such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar), scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management. A PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Energy Industry: Understanding of energy industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance. Knowledge of renewable energy technologies or traditional energy systems (oil, gas, or electricity) is important.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and presentations.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to identify and mitigate risks, handle unexpected issues, and ensure projects stay on track. Strong analytical skills to assess project data and provide actionable insights.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure all project documentation is accurate, compliance is maintained, and project timelines and budgets are adhered to.
