Are you detail-oriented, highly organised, and looking to gain hands-on experience in international sports event management? How would you like to contribute to one of the world’s biggest sporting events?

HBS is looking for a Project Unit Assistant on fixed term contract to 2027, to support key operations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ , ensuring smooth coordination, documentation, and financial tracking across multiple departments.

📌 About the Role

As part of the Project Management Team dedicated to FIFA, you’ll play a crucial role in:

• Supporting two teams within the Project Management department
• Organising meetings, capturing action points, and ensuring seamless follow-ups
• Assisting with project documentation & tools management, such as timelines, staff lists, presentations, and guidelines
• Assisting the Project Managers with the financial monitoring of Projects including; tracking budgets, liaising with suppliers, generating purchase orders, and checking invoices

🔍 Who we’re looking for:

• A good communicator with good organisational skills, who is keen and willing to learn
• Comfortable with tools such as MS Excel, Sharepoint, PowerPoint and Word
• Ideally able to start in August
• Able to work on a hybrid basis (3 days office / 2 days WFH)
