About the Role

The NDT & AUT Engineer will support the execution phase of the offshore project, overseeing all NDT and AUT-related engineering and inspection activities during detailed engineering, procurement, and construction.

You’ll be responsible for monitoring contractor deliverables, managing interface coordination, reviewing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with H3SE, project specifications, and international standards.

Frequent travel to contractor and sub-vendor locations is required. You’ll work closely with UFR specialists and report directly to the UFR Technical Lead. Responsibilities include AUT process validation, welding documentation review, witnessing inspections, and technical deviation management.


About You

Experience:

  • 10–15 years in offshore/subsea oil & gas or energy projects
  • Minimum 5 years in a similar NDT/AUT role

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering or MSc equivalent
  • ASNT Level III AUT, and minimum Level II in RT, PT, MPI, Radiographic Interpretation
  • Specialization:
  • Proven field expertise in AUT on carbon steel
  • Languages:
  • English – mandatory

Personal skills:

  • Strong organisation, communication, and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Proactive with good team and stakeholder coordination skills
