Job Description
Core Banking Project Manager who will lead and manage Temenos Transact software implementation projects for banking institutions including migration and test support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Manage Temenos Transact software implementation projects for banking institutions including migration and test support services.
- Understand and define the scope of projects in accordance with client business objectives.
- Develop project plans to meet the client agreed upon requirements and communicate it to project team and Client Services Management.
- Track monitor project progress and ensure on time delivery of milestones and within the budget.
- Provision of timely and accurate information for client billing.
- Provision of regular reporting client management on project progress status risks and issues.
- Planning of resource requirements in advance to ensure best use of Temenos Transact resources.
- Obtain client sign off on monitor project deliverables and agreed milestones all change control items.
- Maintaining high quality of project deliverables by utilizing the Temenos implementation methodology and quality control procedures.
- Identify any risks or issues and provide solutions to mitigate them.
- Aid leadership and motivation to the project team to ensure timely execution of tasks and team success
- Evaluate performance of assigned during interim or annual appraisals timesheets and expense reports in a timely and accurate ways.
- Ensure that the Project Team presents a professional image of the company to the client.
- Line management responsibilities over a team of project managers and project directors with the ability to provide mentorship, coaching, and support to this team for both their professional advancement and day to day project activities.
Key Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing software implementation projects in highly sensitive environments.
- Transact / Jira skills and experience are essential.
- Excellent understanding of banking processes.
- IT oriented knowledge of banking financial software application excellent knowledge in PowerPoint Excel as well as other MS Office applications.
- Very well organized, structured, resistant to pressure and with high level of personal integrity.
- Excellent writing, understanding and oral communication skills in French and English. FRENCH is a must have.
- Effective communication skills to different levels in an organization.
- Strategic thinking and leadership with an ability to lead and motivate cross functional team.
