Opportunity Summary:
Secure and develop business leads with customers in the South of France, Monaco and wider region. Utilise negotiation and communication skills to build a strategic, robust client base for the business and maximise profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Seek out and contact new sales leads
- Proactively secure sales orders
- Undertake all customer onboarding and account opening procedures
- Conduct product presentations and tastings to promote the brand
- Maintain CRM systems with up-to-date client records and sales activity reports.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision makers across the market
- Negotiate profitable pricing with customers
- Keep abreast of market trends and forecasts
- Undertake regular in-depth product training
- Work closely with Operations and Accounts teams to ensure seamless customer journey
- Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Nurture relationships between the Operations team and customers to ensure easy administration of orders
- Maintain regular face to face contact with all customers
- Coordinate with wider group sales teams on developing accounts to increase ‘basket’ orders
- Support credit control functions where necessary
- Work closely with purchasing function to develop forecast and demand planning strategies.
- Proactively identify new opportunities for Azure caviar’s brand growth and coordinate their action.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Azure Caviar and Reach Food Group
- Attend food expos, culinary events, and industry networking functions
Requirements
- Proven track record in luxury food sales, preferably in seafood, caviar, fine dining, or gourmet products.
- Strong network in the South of France hospitality or gastronomy sectors is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Passion for premium food products and fine cuisine.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the region.
