Field Service Engineer - Laboratory Automation

The company is a global leading manufacturer of liquid handling robotics and laboratory automation. Their instruments are used in cell biology, genomics, proteomics, drug discovery, analytical chemistry, molecular diagnostics, and immunodiagnostics. With a market leading presence, they now have an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Field Service Technician.

The Role:

Your primary responsibility is the installation, preventative maintenance, and repair of laboratory automation systems.

This position is home based with regular travel to customers sites Pays de la Loire and Poitou Charentes, and occasionally supporting other Engineers across France.

Customers include pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academia, hospitals, food & beverage, as well as other industries.

Working alongside the sales, support and service team in France.

Full training is given on the instruments.

The Requirements:

Educated in a scientific or engineering field is preferred; Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Immunology, Electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or related field.

Professional level in English and French is essential.

Excellent communication skills are essential.
