Senior Project Engineer (W/M) – GNL / Gaz

Furthermore, SOFREGAZ is a worldwide recognized engineering specialist for LNG solutions. SOFREGAZ projects are ranging from conceptual studies, to FEED studies, detailed engineering and small to medium EPCs.
Sofregaz is looking for an Experienced or Senior Project Engineer, in order to strengthen its teams and take part in international projects for the design of LNG and gas facilities, ranging for feasibility studies to FEED and detailed design.
The engineer shall perform the following tasks:
Within Project:
· Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects;
· Formulating project parameters and assigning responsibilities to the most capable employees and monitoring the Engineering team.
· Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and representing them to project Manager and Engineering Teams;
· Performing quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance and reporting on the project's status;
· Cooperating and communicating with the project manager and other project participants and collaborating with senior engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability;
· Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions;
· Reviewing and contributing to the preparation of Engineering deliverables;
· Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
· Identifying Change Orders related to Engineering Scope.
Within department:
· Contribute to the drafting and the updating of standards, procedures and work instructions;
· Exchange experiences and best practices with colleagues within the Group;
· Keeps up-to-date on developments and trends of the Department
Desired profile:
· Master’s Degree in Engineering ,
· Experience in Oil & Gas Engineering is a must,
· Knowledge of the LNG and gas area is a plus,
· A previous experience on the site in construction and/or operation is a plus,
· Autonomous, dynamic and reactive,
· Knowledge of English and Spanish is required. A third language can be a plus.
· You are mobile in France and abroad for short terms business trips.
