Project HSE Manager - Full-time - Paris - €70,000 - €100,000 + Benefits

Our client is a fast-growing French company that designs, manufacturers and installs submarine cable systems used for telecommunications and offshore energy. They are a leading global player in the subsea cable industry, with more than 800,000km of submarine systems deployed worldwide.


To support their ongoing international projects, the business is seeking an experienced Project HSE Manager to join their Projects & Operations HSE team.


Your Mission:


As Project HSE Manager, your mission is to uphold and drive commitment to preventing harm to people, property, and the environment. You will lead HSE and sustainability initiatives across all project phases—engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and offshore installation—while ensuring compliance with both customers and company requirements.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Serve as a HSE representative for all project stakeholders, including customers, subcontractors, and partners.
  • Implement and manage project-specific HSE plans, procedures, and documentation.
  • Coordinate and conduct HSE audits, inspections, and visits
  • Lead risk analysis and ensure follow-through on prevention measures.
  • Drive incident reporting, investigation, and root-cause analysis, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
  • Design and deliver HSE training programs, briefings, and presentations.
  • Track and report on HSE performance across all project phases and contractors.


Required Experience:


  • 5–10 years in a similar HSE role within large-scale industrial projects
  • Proven experience in the Oil & Gas offshore or subsea sectors.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Familiarity with HSE tools and methodologies
  • Proficient in incident investigation, risk management, and audit coordination.
  • Strong language skills in both French and English
  • Comfortable working in multicultural, multi-project environments.
