HPC System Engineer

High performance computing is at the cutting edge of technology and the systems you’ll be working on are some of the most advanced and the most powerful in the world. You’ll be joining up with a group that have been pushing the boundaries of supercomputing for decades and are constantly ranked as one of the top manufacturers in the Top500.

You’ll be supporting the build of a new HPC system on a client site. You will be handling everything from system administration & troubleshooting, to hardware support & installation, performance monitoring, job scheduling, and automation & scripting. Due to the high level of security clearance required, you will need to be able to work autonomously with the support of the wider team.

What you need:

• Experience supporting HPC systems
• Really strong Linux, RedHat ideally
• Experience with parallel file systems, Lustre ideally, GPFS is ok
• You must be a French citizen & have some English proficiency

Interview process:

3 rounds - an initial technical chat with the hiring manager to start, followed by a technical interview with another member of the technical team. One final round to wrap things up.

Location:

On-site with the client in Paris.
