Interested in integrating a determined and dynamic team?
Ready to bring your creativity and knowledge to design innovative deep tech systems at lightning speed while collaborating with transdisciplinary, international partners?
PRONOE is an ocean CO2 removal startup based in France. We restore the ocean’s natural capacity to permanently remove CO2 from the air in a sustainable, scalable, and asset-light manner. We develop and deploy automated water treatment systems that safely turn the liquid discharge of coastal industries into less acidic, more alkaline flows within current regulations. The result is high-quality CO2 removal, valorization of otherwise wasted effluents, and local ocean acidification mitigation.
Context:
Under the supervision of the CTO, you will be a part of our Research and Development team, focusing on environmental impact. You will participate in projects on effluent dispersion into ocean environments, focusing on marine geochemistry and the ocean carbon cycle. Thus, help PRONOE achieve critical milestones in our technical development.
Main Missions:
Education: Degree in ocean geochemistry (Eng., MSc, PhD).
Experience: Geochemical engineering, environmental impact analysis, water treatment, fluid dynamics, data handling, sensors, mathematical/mechanistic/numerical modeling, automatization, and project management.
Relevant Industries: Geochemical, carbon dioxide removal, chemical, environmental, wastewater treatment.
