About the job


Job purpose


As an IT Product Owner Intern, your main objective is to assist in coordinating the community of Project Managers and Product Team Members in charge of deploying of one of our product at AXA. You will help establish and implement best practices for product deployment follow-up, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among international stakeholders.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Support the maintenance of up-to-date product deployment project governance documentation and calendars, assisting project teams in preparing for key meetings.
  • Coordinate with various Product & Project team members to identify, qualify, and formalize product deployment project dependencies.
  • Assist in managing the lifecycle of product project portfolios, ensuring synchronization with relevant tools (Service Now, MS Project, JIRA …)
  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives within the product deployment project management community by:
  • Ensuring improvement plans are effectively managed and executed.
  • Analyzing project statuses to identify opportunities for enhancement and gaps in processes.
  • Organizing regular workshops to promote the sharing of best practices and lessons learned.
  • Apply agile methodologies as the department is transforming to an agile framework and possess a solid understanding of agile principles and practices.
  • Organize and manage project documentation systematically to ensure easy access and retrieval for all stakeholders. This includes maintaining version control and updating documents as needed.
  • Maintain the product deployment project management knowledge base (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint) including:
  • Project documentation, user stories, guides, and lessons learned.
  • Ensure that documentation is organized, easily searchable, and updated regularly to reflect the current status of projects.
  • Organize and lead monthly reviews with Product Deployment Project Managers to assess project planning, update regular the product deployment roadmap
  • Assist management teams in overseeing the project portfolio, including tracking progress on projects and improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver regular reports on project performance by defining and monitoring key performance indicators.
  • Participate in product and project committees, engaging with stakeholders across various regions to gather, document, and analyze project requirements, user stories, and challenges.

About you


We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:


Experience


  • Previous internship or project experience in project management, IT product management, or digital projects is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of project lifecycles and methodologies


Technical skills


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (O365, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project ) for project reporting and documentation.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow) is essential for tracking project progress and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile frameworks and best practices for project follow-up.
  • Ability to manage project documentation and navigate complex project structures.
  • Fast to acquire tool and process understanding, along with user roles and responsibilities.
  • Ability to manage project documentation, ensuring it is organized, up-to-date, and accessible to all stakeholders.
  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI) for monitoring and reporting on project performance metrics.
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to analyze project data and provide insights for continuous improvement.
