About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to lead the development of computational models
extracting and integrating multi-o-mics data with a specific focus on imaging. The candidate must demonstrate
strong methodological rigor and have an excellent understanding of project requirements to develop relevant and
robust solutions.
This position will include:
- Training models for clinical/pre clinical/histopath imaging data extraction and integration;
- Develop useful tools to pre-process clinical/pre clinical/histopath imaging data and validate prediction models;
- Help in writing grant proposals to acquire funding at both a national and European level;
- Assist students (at PhD, MSc. and BSc. levels) in designing and developing exciting and useful research projects.
🔧 Required Skills & Qualifications
• PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Medical Imaging, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Machine Learning and Deep Learning (e.g., Scikit-learn,
TensorFlow / PyTorch).
• Strong experience with high-dimensional Medical Imaging radiomics and/or pathomics (e.g.,
PyRadiomics, QuPath).
• Strong communication skills and a track record of peer-reviewed publications.
• Design and document relevant evaluation protocols to validate model robustness. Ensure complete
traceability of experiments and technical choices
Nice to have:
