Senior Pipeline Engineer

Position: Senior Offshore Pipeline & Riser Engineer

Duration: 12 months renewable contract

Location: Paris

Technical Expertise:

• 10+ years of experience in shallow and Deepwater offshore rigid pipeline and riser design.
• Knowledge of onshore pipeline design is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of international design codes & standards, including: DNV ST F101, DNV ST F201, ASME B31.8, ASME B31.4, API STD 2RD, API RP 1111, ISO 13623
• Experience in reviewing and providing feedback on FEED and Detail Design deliverables. Familiarity with pre-commissioning activities and non-metallic pipeline materials (flexible pipes, TCP, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities & Scope:

• Preliminary pipeline & riser design for offshore developments (including shore approaches).
• Review and follow up on contractor design work and participate in technical discussions.
• Provide technical support to COMPANY’s affiliates regarding pipeline/riser integrity, inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Contribute to technical reviews, audits, and value engineering exercises.
• Support onshore pipeline engineering when needed.
• Document lessons learned to improve company standards.

Soft Skills & Other Requirements:

• Fluency in English (must be able to communicate in technical discussions). Speaking French would be a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (structural, geotechnical, corrosion, etc.).
• Willingness to travel for ad-hoc missions within France or internationally.
