The division


Group CIO creates the link between technology and business strategy and priorities, defines the technology operating model for AXA, sets global and local architecture, applications and infrastructure standards, and leads the definition and execution of global technology strategy and technology lifecycle to enable innovation and business growth.


The department / team


Identity Global Products (IGP) is a large and global department in AXA Group Operations, composed by ~150 team members, mandated to design, implement, deploy and operate globally shared products linked to identity & access management domain for:

  • Employees working for AXA
  • Users/partners working for AXA business,
  • Customer users of AXA


In essence, the IT Identity Department is the guardian of the company’s digital identity, ensuring the right people have the right access at the right time. It’s a critical function that helps maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of the company’s information assets.


Currently transformed thanks to major IT transformation programs, we aim to become leader on the market in terms of practices and technologies.



About the job


Job purpose


As a Trainings & Communications Intern, your main objective is to assist Product Teams, People Managers, Department Office Teams (Product Adoption & Engagement teams) by working very closey with our Communication & Event Officer and UX Designer on Trainings & Communications topics:

  • Follow the execution of our Training Strategy, and continually improve it (e.g. identifying new training contents, creation of new contents)
  • Define communication guidelines & toolkits to support project & product teams in creation of communication and training materials


You will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of learning and development in one of the AXA Group Operations’ departments, making a significant impact on the company.


Main missions


Your responsibilities include:


  • Manage the training strategy and coordinate its execution:
  • Update regularly training strategy when required and requested
  • Monitor and report on the progress and effectiveness of learning and development programs
  • Define, Prepare & Execute Communication Plans, depending on the population, user persona and training contents
  • Coordinate the department’s budget on trainings
  • Coordination with People Managers, team members to follow training objectives
  • Scope, coordinate SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) by organizing and facilitating workshops and create new engaging and effective training contents, according to the training strategy
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions
  • Improve and foster communication & learning culture within product & project teams
  • Maintain up-to-date department’s communication & training plans, incl. Editorial agendas
  • Work closely with our UX Designer to develop new communication and training templates
  • Define and maintain up-to-date communication toolkits & guidelines, including story telling, user stories, etc.
  • Train & coach regularly project & product teams in these toolkits and guidelines
  • Prepare and publish regularly product & project news, communication & training contents
  • Foster continual improvement mindset in communications & trainings activities, by collecting regularly feedbacks and insights, and animating retrospective events



During this internship, you will develop key skills and expertise which will be valuable for your career on:

  • Change Management (including Prosci methodology, trainings & communications)
  • Project management
  • Product management (including agile methodology)
  • IT Operations and Service Management best practices
  • Usage of corporate tools (O365, JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, Klaxoon, etc.)
  • Knowledge on identity solutions and cybersecurity
  • Analytics capacity and business understanding
  • Working in multi-cultural, complex, international and matrixial company


You will have also access to different e-learning platforms (e.g. LinkedIn Learning) to upskill yourself on this different


About you


We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:


Experience


  • Previous experience on Communication and/or Learning/Training experience


Technical skills


  • Microsoft Office (O365, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel File)
  • ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence is a plus but not mandatory
  • Details focused but always keeping the high-level picture to understand the purpose of his/her activities on the overall business objectives
  • Familiar with change management methodologies (e.g. JIRA)
  • Familiar with Agile framework and methodologies (Scrum, Less, etc.)
  • Management of user community including driving problem calls, communicating progress on issues & actions


Soft skills / transversal skills


  • Capacity to be autonomous and take lead/initiative to engage stakeholders and solve arising problems
  • Rigorous, organized, excellent time management
  • Problem solving, including solving business and technical challenges, critical thinking skills
  • Ability to document requirements for both technical and end user teams

  • Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals.
  • Self-motivated and directed.
  • Fluent in English verbal and written, French is a plus
  • Initiative mindset – always keen to propose new ideas / things to try
  • Detail-oriented: skilled at identifying and resolving the root cause of problems (bugs, logic conflicts, technical constraints, etc.)
