Key Account Sales Manager


A leading chemical manufacturer specializing in high-performance materials, including advanced polyamide solutions for the automotive industry. With a strong global presence and a commitment to innovation, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Development Manager to drive growth and manage key accounts across Southern Europe and the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Management:
    Manage and grow a portfolio of key automotive accounts with a combined revenue responsibility of €40 million.

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the polyamide segment within the automotive market.

  • Customer Relationship Management:
    Act as the primary point of contact for customers, nurturing long-term relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Territory Development:
    Cover France, Italy, Spain, and select key accounts in the UK, with regular travel as needed.

  • Market Intelligence:
    Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with technical, R&D, and supply chain teams to deliver tailored solutions to customers.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Industry Experience:
    Proven track record in chemical sales, specifically in polyamide materials for the automotive sector.

  • Market Network:
    Strong existing network within the European automotive market, particularly OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.

  • Sales Approach:
    A "farmer" sales mindset - focused on nurturing and expanding existing accounts rather than aggressive new business hunting.

  • Languages:
    Fluent in French and English (Italian or Spanish is a plus).

  • Location:
    Based in France or Italy with the ability to work from home and travel across the assigned territory.
