About this role


As City Manager in Paris, you’ll be leading Piney’s operations in one of Europe’s most high-potential markets from day one. This is a hands-on, high-impact role at the intersection of operations, logistics, and client success. Your mission? Launch and scale Piney’s presence in Paris — ensuring we deliver an exceptional experience to every guest and every property manager we work with.


You’ll be responsible for building and managing the local team of cleaners and freelancers, setting up operational processes, onboarding properties, and maintaining the quality and reliability Piney is known for. You’ll also work closely with HQ to bring local insights into our strategy and continuously improve how we operate. If you're resourceful, operationally sharp, and excited by the idea of scaling a service business from the ground up — this role offers the autonomy, responsibility, and growth path to match.


What you’ll be doing


  • Own Piney’s operations in Paris — from day-to-day service delivery to long-term growth and profitability
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a reliable network of cleaners, drivers, and freelancers
  • Ensure service quality and consistency, conducting regular audits and solving issues on the ground
  • Onboard new properties, working closely with HQ and clients to ensure smooth handovers and clean launches
  • Manage inventory and logistics for linen, amenities, and supplies, in coordination with suppliers and partners
  • Act as the local point of contact for clients, handling escalations and building strong relationships with property managers
  • Optimize routes, schedules, and staffing to ensure on-time cleanings with minimal inefficiencies
  • Work with HQ teams (Ops, Product, Support) to improve tools, processes, and service standards
  • Track and report KPIs — including client satisfaction, cleaning performance, and cost efficiency
  • Continuously improve local operations by identifying bottlenecks and proposing scalable solutions
