HR Manager – Pharma Manufacturing (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)


Location: Strasbourg, France


Are you an experienced HR professional with a strong background in operational HR and a deep understanding of French labour law? Do you thrive in fast-paced manufacturing environments and enjoy partnering closely with site leadership teams? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!



About the Role:


We are seeking an HR Manager to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing hub in Strasbourg on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As the key HR partner on-site, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth HR operations, compliance with French labour regulations, and fostering a positive workplace culture.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Act as a strategic HR partner to the site leadership team, providing expert advice on HR policies, workforce planning, and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with French labour laws, industry regulations, and company HR policies.
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding efforts to attract and retain top talent.
  • Oversee employee relations, managing conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Support training and development initiatives to enhance workforce capabilities.
  • Implement and improve HR processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement within the site workforce.



What We’re Looking For:


  • 5+ years of HR experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of French labour law and HR best practices.
  • Experience managing employee relations, compliance, and operational HR functions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in French (mandatory) and English (preferred)
