Your impact:

As the UX Manager at Rexel Group, you will lead an international team of UX/UI designers based in Paris and Dallas. You will play a key role in defining and implementing the Group's global UX strategy, aiming to improve the user experience across all shared products, used in multiple countries and by various customers.

You will be responsible for driving UX activities from the discovery phase, including user research and organizing collaborative workshops, through to the delivery and optimization of the digital products. You will manage the diversity of personas and the specific needs of the Countries providing a strategic vision to ensure an optimized user experience.

This role also involves close collaboration with the digital product teams, which operate in squads.

You will play a key role in designing a UX based on a strong customer and data-driven approach, and innovation.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Delivery Strategy, Management, and Optimization : Develop and execute a UX/UI delivery strategy focused on quality and performance, ensuring efficient and timely product releases. Monitor key UX KPIs and work with the analytics and product teams to define and analyze the A/B tests and data to continuously optimize the user experience.
  • Leadership and Team Management : Provide strategic direction to the UX/UI team, fostering innovation, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving the team’s growth and cohesion. Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • User Research and Discovery : Oversee the discovery phase, including deep user research and the organization of collaborative workshops with stakeholders, transforming user insights into actionable UX solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate closely with the Countries digital teams, Product teams, Tech teams … and external teams to ensure UX solutions are aligned with long-term business objectives.
  • Design Operations : Optimize the Design System, tools, and processes at scale, while enhancing user testing efforts to support the evolution of these systems as projects grow in complexity.

Your challenges:

  • Build a best-in-class, differentiating customer experience
  • Implement an end-to-end approach from discovery to optimization with product teams
  • Know and understand the different personas in different countries.
  • Build a global customer experience while addressing key country specificities.
  • Anchor structuring tools and methodologies (design system, design blue print, design thinking, user testing, etc.)
  • Be at the heart of our digital business transformation program (ecommerce, app., search...)
  • Staying ahead of innovation: Monitor the latest UX trends and incorporate technological innovations into development processes to maintain competitiveness and deliver a top-tier user experience.

Your strengths and skills:

  • At least 10 years of experience in product design, with a minimum of 3 years in a direct management role.
  • Proven expertise in eCommerce, in an international context, and ideally in a B2B environment,
  • At ease with analytics tools such as GA4, Contentsquare.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading a UX community.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a strategic vision.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Zeplin, and familiarity with project management tools (Jira is a plus).
