Our client are a global leading Pesticides Developer and Manufacturer with a global presence. Headquartered in the US, their EMEA office is located in Lyon. Our client are at the forefront of the the Environmental Science industry and are a market leader within the segments they operate in.

The Role

The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing third-party manufacturers, known as "tollers". The role involves managing the relationship between the company and these external manufacturers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of products. This role involves monitoring production, ensuring compliance with company standards, and fostering strong relationships with tollers to optimize production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Toller Selection and Management: Identify, evaluate, and select toll manufacturing partners that align with the company’s production needs and quality standards. Develop and maintain strong relationships with tollers to ensure ongoing collaboration and performance.
• Production Oversight: Monitor tollers' production processes to ensure adherence to agreed-upon specifications, timelines, and quality standards. Address any production issues that arise and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure tollers comply with internal quality standards. Implement quality control measures and audits at toller sites to maintain product integrity.
• Cost Management: Analyze and manage the costs associated with toll manufacturing, identifying opportunities to reduce expenses without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
