Logistics and Admin Assistant

Starting date : ASAP

Location : Gentilly (metro line 14- 1 station from Paris) or fully remote

Contract : 6 months CDD. Part time (3-4 days a week)

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Procurement & ordering

• Order lab consumables, chemicals, and equipments
• Get quotes, compare options, and negotiate prices
• Payment of providers

Logistics

• Track orders through to delivery, chase deliveries and equipment, manage shipments (including international), and resolve delays
• Help find and vet new suppliers when we need them

Admin

• Make sure invoices are uploaded on our bank platform and chase employees and suppliers for compliant invoices
• Other admin tasks as required

Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a "get-things-done attitude" and be comfortable communicating via Slack daily.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience in purchasing or a related field.
• Chemistry knowledge (or tech knowledge and curiosity to discover a new field). Lab experience is a plus
• Proficiency in both English and French.
• Familiarity with managing suppliers and delivery follow-ups.
• Ability to effectively push back on suppliers.
• Remote work is acceptable, and location is not a constraint.
