We work both on our own product pipeline and with leading industrial partners.Joining Aviwell means contributing directly to ambitious science with concrete real-world impact, within an international, fast-moving, collaborative startup environment.The OpportunityReporting to the Program Manager, the Multi-Omics Project Manager will help scale Aviwell’s Discovery Platform and deliver high-value partner-driven projects.This is not a purely coordination-based role. You will be at the center of scientific projects from initial client needs through to final delivery, translating complex requirements into clear workplans and ensuring that the operational, scientific, administrative, and financial elements move forward together.You will work closely with microbiologists, bioinformaticians, biostatisticians, immunologists, physiologists, external CROs, academic partners, and Aviwell’s management team. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining scientific understanding, project leadership, practical execution, and the variety of responsibilities that comes with a growing startup.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination and DeliveryTranslate client and management requirements into clear, actionable project plans for cross-functional scientific teams.Structure projects into work packages, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resource needs.Coordinate and actively support the execution of multi-omics and in vivo R&D projects, from project kick-off through final reporting.Maintain and update project documentation, including Gantt charts, task lists, dashboards, meeting notes, sample-tracking tools, contracts, and reporting materials.Monitor progress against timelines, quality requirements, milestones, and budgets; identify issues early and propose practical contingency plans.Ensure effective communication and alignment across internal teams, external partners, CROs, and clients.Attend animal trials when required to support compliance with protocols, SOPs, contracts, and sample collection plans.Review scientific and technical outcomes with the relevant experts, identify emerging risks or opportunities, and help adapt project plans to meet client and business needs.Stakeholder, Budget, and Administrative ManagementPrepare regular project updates for management, clients, and internal teams, covering scientific progress, risks, timelines, resources, and budgets.Coordinate external providers, CROs, and academic partners, including follow-up on quotations, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, deliverables, and deadlines.Work closely with Business Development, Finance, HR, and Administration to ensure project resources, staffing, funding sources, and operational requirements are aligned.Support the preparation of client proposals, project budgets, funding reports, and internal decision-making materials.Contribute directly to the day-to-day administrative execution required to keep projects moving efficientlyScientific and Strategic ContributionMaintain a strong understanding of multi-omics approaches, microbiome science, molecular biology, and their application to animal health and nutrition.Stay informed on relevant scientific, technical, and regulatory developments.Support the translation of scientific findings into clear, decision-ready insights for clients, partners, and management.Contribute to the continuous improvement of Aviwell’s project-management processes, Discovery Platform services, and operational tools.Your ProfileEducation and ExperiencePhD in Biology, Molecular Biology, Nutrition, Immunology, Pharmacology, Veterinary Sciences, or a related discipline.At least 5 years of project-management experience in molecular life sciences, biotechnology, agrotech, pharma, or a related sector.Strong exposure to multi-omics, molecular mechanisms, biomarker discovery, microbiome science, or complex biological datasets.Experience in animal nutrition, feed additives, poultry, aquaculture, or livestock biology is a strong advantage.Experience working with CROs, academic collaborators, and industrial partners is highly valued.Fluent English is essential; French is a plus.SkillsExcellent organizational skills and the ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously.Strong planning, reporting, budget-tracking, and risk-management capabilities.Comfortable working with project-management tools such as Monday.Com, dashboards, spreadsheets, and presentation software.Able to understand complex scientific topics and turn them into clear actions, priorities, and deliverables.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact with senior management, clients, and multidisciplinary scientific teams.Willingness to travel occasionally to partner sites, animal trials, scientific meetings, and trade shows.MindsetWe are looking for someone who is:Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership.Equally happy building a strategic project plan and following up on the practical details that make it happen.Adaptable and energized by a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.Collaborative, pragmatic, and solution-oriented.Motivated by the opportunity to help build and scale an innovative Life Sciences company.What We OfferA key role in a growing deep-tech company at the intersection of biology, data science, and sustainable animal nutrition.The opportunity to work on innovative, high-impact multi-omics projects with international partners.A diverse and hands-on position with real ownership and visibility.A collaborative international team based in Toulouse.Competitive salary, based on experience.Location: Toulouse, FranceContract: Full-time, permanent contract (CDI)Start date: As soon as possible
