Process & Manufacturing Engineering Fitting (PME) Manager (H/F) 1 1 1

Within Train Industrialization Organization, reporting to PME Central Director (Process & Manufacturing Engineering), the PME Fitting Manager of the central PME team will have the duty to develop fitting metier within Alstom Sites - RSC (Rolling Stock and Component), ensuring below main missions:Establish and Deploy “Fitting Metier” standards cross RSC sites.Strengthen Fitting Design for Manufacturing in collaboration with Engineering and CoE (Center Of Expertise) InteriorsDevelop and implement strong relationship with CoE InteriorsAlign Special Processes networks initiatives with Fitting métier needs / propose innovationsSupport sourcing, Quality and Supply Chain as industrial Fitting expertRobust Rex (Return Of Experience) management within Fitting Metier cross sitesSupport projects on demandMain responsabilitiesCoordinate Fitting “métier” experts / sites leaders network:Define standard métier rulesCapitalize Return of ExperienceDevelop fitting competencies and associated training plans cross sites.Consolidate Fitting industrial means data base on RSC sites with CoE Interiors 2. Robust interfaces with Engineering on fitting scope involving CoE Interiors:Ensure good WoW between Fitting sites organization and Engineering/CoE InteriorsDefine standard manufacturing processes for a better product x process definitionStrengthen Fitting industrial validation during Design/Gate Reviews 3. Manage Fitting Process and Manufacturing Engineering network:Define the industrial management plan including manufacturing requirementsAlign RSC sites on standard Manufacturing processes.Capitalize best practicesSupport Standard Manufacturing Process (SMP) / Standard Manifacturing Layout (SML) / Standard Method Time (SMT) deploymentRequired profileTechnical CompetenciesTechnical Back-ground: Good Train / Component, products / processes knowledge.Strong Indus Fitting knowledge: Especially Process Engineering domainGlobal understanding of overall internal processes (Projects, Engineering, Industrial, R&D …).Design for manufacturing / costing mindsetSoft Skills Ability to analyze in extracting essentials factsAbility to synthesize in preparing clear presentation and reporting to management.Good communication skillsDecision maker, drive to achieve results, ability to put organization under tension.Convince and influence (internal organization) towards Industrial targets.Experience : 10 years’ experience in Railway industry (Rolling Stock and/or Component) within Industrialization organization.
