CONTEXT HM.Clause is recruiting an EMEA Production Operations Lead (M/F) based in Portes-lès-Valence.Reporting to the Global Seed Production Director, you will lead and develop agronomic production operations across the EMEA region (France, Spain, Kenya). You will manage a network of Country Seed Production Managers, Home Farm Managers, and field teams, ensuring operational performance, quality, and compliance with Limagrain Group standards.You will play a key role in shaping and executing the regional production strategy while contributing to the global production vision in line with the long term LVS (Limagrain Vegetable Seed) ambitionsYOUR RESPONSIBILITIESStrategy & ExecutionDeploy and execute the regional production strategy (capacity, development, organization) in alignment with the global roadmapLead the development of home farm production and grower networksDrive strategic projects and transformation initiatives across the regionContribute actively to the global production strategy within an international leadership teamDeploy the strategic positioning of the Home Farms in the EMEA region in collaboration with the sister BUs of LVS.Leadership & Organization:Lead, develop, and inspire a multicultural team of country managers and production teamsFoster a strong leadership culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous developmentSupport talent development and succession planningCollaborate with LVS stakeholders and Production Team of sister BUsBuild strong interaction with LVS Seed Supply Managers and Supply Crop LeadPerformance & Operational ExcellenceDefine and monitor KPIs to drive performance and transparencyImplement and sustain a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvementOptimize productivity, efficiency, and reliability across production sitesEnsure Home Farms are operating at full capacityBudget Management :Build and manage regional OPEX and CAPEX budgets in line with business objectives together with Country Manager and FP&A departmentEnsure rigorous financial planning, cost control, and investment trackingSafety, Quality & ComplianceEnsure compliance with local regulations and Limagrain Group policiesOversee incident management and corrective action plansPromote best practices, standardization, and knowledge sharing across sitesContribute to environmental and sustainability initiativesCollaboration & Stakeholders engagementAct as a key partner within the global production organizationStrengthen collaboration across supply chain functions and Limagrain Vegetable Seeds business unitsDrive alignment between regional and global prioritiesPromote the CARE Value Collaboration, Accountability, Respect and Entrepreneurship and put our Principles of Action into practiceYOUR PROFILEEducation & Experience:Master’s degree in agriculture, agri-food, horticulture, or a related field5 to 10 years of experience in the seed, horticulture, or agri-food sector, including proven experience in management and project managementRequired Skills:Strong strategic thinking and analytical skillsDemonstrated leadership with experience managing multicultural teamsSolid expertise in seed or agronomic productionExcellent communication, coordination, and decision-making skills in complex environmentsLeadership – Ability to set direction, inspire teams, and drive results.Collaboration – Strong capability to work effectively across teams and functions.Complex project management – Proven ability to lead and deliver large, cross-functional projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.Strategic negotiation skills – Ability to lead complex negotiations, secure favorable outcomes, and create win-win agreements.Purchasing expertise – Strong understanding of procurement strategies, cost optimization, supplier management, and value creationAbility to navigate a matrix organization – Skill in managing complexity, influencing stakeholders, and aligning multiple perspectives.Relationship building and networking – Capacity to develop and maintain strong, trust-based professional relationships.Agility – Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities and dynamic environments.Innovation and transformation mindset – Driving new ideas and leading transformation initiatives.Willingness to challenge the status quo – Constructively questioning existing practices to improve outcomes.Change management – Effectively leading and supporting organizational changeWillingness to travel in Europe and Africa and interact with seed production growers and multicultural teamsLanguages:Fluent French and English requiredSpanish is a plusMobility:15 to 20% travel (France & international)WHAT YOU WILL FIND WITH US:A role in a dynamic and innovative environmentA wide variety of responsibilities within strategic projectsInteractions with multicultural and multidisciplinary teamsAn opportunity to develop your expertise within a global groupBenefits:Meal vouchers & company restaurantFamily health insurance and supplementary pensionEmployee benefits (CSE)COMPENSATION:Fixed salary with a 13th-month bonusProfit-sharing bonus linked to company performanceIncentive bonus linked to Limagrain Group results
