Oversee the overall operation of the cold chain warehouse, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and uninterrupted temperature control.
Lead warehouse operational teams and supervisors, coordinating activities across inbound, temperature-controlled storage, inventory management, order preparation, and outbound operations.
Ensure products are received, handled, stored, picked, and dispatched within the required temperature ranges and in accordance with internal procedures and applicable regulations.
Monitor temperature-control systems, cold rooms, refrigerated equipment, alarms, and temperature records, and ensure prompt action in the event of any deviation.
Ensure full traceability of products and manage temperature excursions, damaged goods, non-conformities, quarantine stock, and other operational exceptions.
Manage workforce planning, shift scheduling, employee training, team development, and performance management.
Monitor key warehouse KPIs, including inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, safety, temperature compliance, service level, and cost, and drive continuous improvement.
Identify operational, quality, and safety risks and coordinate the response to incidents, equipment failures, temperature deviations, and emergency situations.
Work closely with Transportation, Quality, QI/EHS, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve cross-functional operational issues.
Continuously improve warehouse layout, cold-storage capacity, operational processes, resource allocation, and standardised working practices.
About You
3–5 years of warehouse management experience, including hands-on experience in cold chain or temperature-controlled warehouse operations.
Proven experience managing a large warehouse, operational teams, and multiple warehouse functions.
Good knowledge of cold chain operations, temperature monitoring, product traceability, inventory control, and quality and safety requirements.
Familiarity with applicable cold chain standards and regulations, such as HACCP and food safety requirements and/or GDP requirements for pharmaceutical products, depending on the business sector.
Experience managing temperature deviations, product quarantine, non-conformities, and emergency situations.
Strong capabilities in team leadership, data analysis, risk management, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination.
Working proficiency in English for day-to-day business communication.
