Job Purpose
Provides overall support of all matters related to OHSE for AF-Saint Seurin. Is responsible for deploying AFEMEA strategic initiatives. Supports development of initiatives together with plant management and OHSE team for the plant. Is responsible for fulfilment of legal requirements, AFEMA-policies in line with regulations and corporate guidelines.
Job Dimensions, Scope & Career Perspective
The role is based at and responsible for OHSE at the Saint Seurin facility, reporting into the General Manager. The team reporting into the role includes 1 direct report. Responsibility for annual operational and capital OHSE budget. The logical career path would be as a Technician preferred with the background out of a production role.
Principal Accountabilities
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
1. Formal Qualifications and Experience
Ideally degree level qualification (Engineering, Science or Operations based) or equivalent experience through practical work in industrial environment. Experience in production environment with diverse technologies would be a distinct advantage.
2. Specific Skills and Abilities
An ability to motivate co-workers in OHSE performance. Key skills and experience in OHSE are essential. A liking for Quality Improvement and Continuous Improvement is subserving.
3. Work experience
4 – 5 years experience in an industrial environment
4. Languages
French (fluent), English.
