Head of Projects France / Head of Projects Department France (M/F)EV Charging Salary €65,000 - €80,000 + BenefitsLocation Aix-en-Provence (France) Company OverviewThe Company is a technology and services company and a pioneer and specialist in high-performance, ultra-fast charging stations dedicated to heavy-duty mobility, including logistics truck fleets, buses, and coaches.With a presence in Europe and North America, They offer a unique and disruptive turnkey approach based on an intelligent distributed architecture and cutting-edge embedded software enabling customers to optimise their Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).The RoleTo support our strong growth and further structure our operations, they are looking for a Head of Projects France, based in Aix-en-Provence.You will play a key role in the strategic and operational leadership of charging infrastructure deployments across France.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Department Structuring: Structure the France Projects Department, define project management processes, deployment methodologies, and performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure scalability.Team Management: Lead, manage, and develop a team of Project Managers, including Senior Project Manager profiles. Set objectives, conduct annual performance reviews, and support their professional development.Portfolio Management: Oversee the entire portfolio of complex charging infrastructure projects with significant strategic and financial importance, ensuring that margins, timelines, safety requirements, and quality standards are consistently met.Continuous Improvement: Lead the development and implementation of innovative digital tools, particularly through the integration of AI, to improve the operational efficiency of project teams.Cross-Functional Collaboration & Pre-Sales: Ensure strong collaboration and alignment with the Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales departments. Provide support during major commercial presentations and act as an escalation point for key account customers.Candidate ProfileEducation: Engineering degree, ideally specialising in Electrical Engineering, Energy, or an equivalent field.Experience: At least 5 years of solid experience in managing large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects, combined with significant and proven experience managing technical teams.Key Skills: Strong knowledge of high- and low-voltage electrical networks (HV/LV), civil engineering requirements, and ideally the EV charging infrastructure (EV charging / EVSE) sector. Fluency in English is essential.Soft Skills: Strategic vision, natural leadership, excellent communication skills, strong contractual discipline, and the ability to bring people together and drive alignment in a fast-paced environment.
