Are you a laboratory technician looking to broaden your experience within a world-class chemical and pharmaceutical environment?We have an exciting on-site opportunity for a motivated candidate to join an established service team embedded within a major industrial site, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day coordination of laboratory-related service activities.What you'll be doingSupporting the coordination and facilitation of external lab supplier and service provider visits on a large chemical/pharmaceutical siteEscorting visitors and service providers across the site, ensuring all access and safety procedures are correctly followedActing as a reliable on-site point of contact between internal teams and external technical partnersHandling associated administrative tasks including documentation, visitor records, intervention logs, and archivingEnsuring all activities comply with site quality, safety, and regulatory requirementsContributing to the smooth running of laboratory service operations on a day-to-day basisWhat we're looking forBackground in chemistry, biology, or a related life sciences discipline — BTS, Licence, or equivalentAt least 1 year of exposure to a laboratory or regulated industrial environment, including apprenticeships or work-study programmesComfortable with administrative tasks, documentation, and compliance proceduresOrganised, autonomous, and at ease working on a large industrial or pharmaceutical siteGood interpersonal skills — you'll be the face of the team with external visitors dailyValid Category B driving licence — required for on-site mobilityProfessional French; good English is a plusWhat's in it for youA unique opportunity to gain operational experience within a leading life sciences environmentDaily exposure to a large, complex industrial site with a well-established international service teamThe chance to build a strong professional network within the pharmaceutical and chemical industryA role that values your laboratory background and puts it to work in a broader operational contextAbout Planet Pharma:Planet Pharma is an American parented Employment Business/Agency that provides global staffing services with its head-quarters in Chicago and our EMEA regional office located in Central London.
