Quality Manager

pbRole Summary: /b /p pQuality Manager will be responsible for the Site QA/QC program and will play an active leadership role in highly engineered manufacturing environment. Quality Manager will also lead or support multiple of initiatives including, but not limited to, CI initiatives related to Quality KPIs, QMS improvements, supplier quality management processes and internal audit. This individual must have a strong background in quality management and proven track record of leadership in the quality function within large industrial manufacturing organizations. Need to be able to work with associates at all levels of the organization (specially on the factory shop and office floors). /p pbYour Role: /b /p pPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: /pullipLead Site Quality Program and Cost of Quality. /p /lilipLead Customer complaints / Escapes problem solving. /p /lilipChampion quality cultural change in the facility aligned with Flowserve values behaviors. /p /lilipResponsible for QC incoming, in-process and final inspection for the site. /p /lilipManage and improve Quality KPIs (Non-conformances, Rework, Scrap, First Pass Yield, Escapes, Warranties, Corrective Actions). /p /lilipReport KPIs, Global Corrective Actions and support with corporate data requests. /p /lilipImplement Zero Defect Program and support Customer Experience in the site as per Corporate Guidelines. /p /lilipMaintain all Quality certifications for the business (ISO 9001:2015, others site specific) /p /lilipMaintain compliance with Flowserve Global Procedures and industry regulations requirements. /p /lilipSupport external customer audits. /p /lilipLaunch continuous improvement initiatives based on the KPIs results and support CI initiatives at site. /p /lilipLead, facilitate and coach Problem Solving (RCA/CA/PA) for the facility. /p /lilipPartner with Supplier Performance Group to assure suppliers quality and performance. /p /lilipPerform “Talent Performance” reviews for Quality Team and support Organizational Health initiatives. /p /lilipProvide coaching and direction for Site Leadership regarding Quality. /p /lilipUnderstand and interpret PL and key financial indicators to make well-balanced decisions regarding expenses/costs that take into account multiple considerations. /p /li /ul pREQUIRES THE ABILITY TO:br / /pullipUse project management tools to ensure effective and timely completion of project milestones. /p /lilipEnsure export compliance. /p /lilipUse detailed process mapping tools to define and analyze quality management workflows. /p /lilipInteract guide the other functional areas including manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, production, and field service/repair to evaluate failure trends, product quality problems, and quality issues. /p /lilipEvaluate existing quality processes and systems for effectiveness and improvement opportunities. /p /lilipSupport quality system deployment plans given multiple system deployments with other functions (ERP, PLM, SIOP, etc.). /p /lilipInteract with customers and suppliers on quality issues plus resolution of any problems within process and final product acceptance. /p /lilipProvide input, guidance and coaching to site leadership team to ensure continuous improvement. /p /lilipCommunicate effectively in both verbal and written form with a wide variety of customers including both internal and external to Flowserve. Communicate effectively with associates at all levels, from the factory floor to executives at Flowserve and Customers. /p /lilipBe able to perform and coach others in data analysis and perform root cause analysis. /p /lilipInitiate, formulate and implement new business practices within a specific discipline while managing the development and/or delivery of a significant element of the organization#39;s change management program. /p /lilipDevelop and/or deliver budget plans with guidance from senior colleagues. /p /lilipGains the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity. /p /li /ul pbYour Profile: /b /ppbuREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: /u /b /p ullipBachelor’s degree in engineering field (manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical) /p /lilip8 years of experience in Quality, 5 as Quality Manager. /p /lilipPrevious experience in metal-mechanic industries and similar business. /p /lilipManagement experience with ISO 9001:2015 quality systems (certification audits). /p /lilipSkilled in Team Oriented Problem Solving (8D, A3, RCA/CA/PA tools, able to teach and coach). /p /lilipPrior experience leading/managing PFMEAs, Process Capability, SPC /p /lilipLean Six Sigma Black Belt or Certified Quality Engineer or equivalent /p /lilipSkilled in data analysis and quality KPI performance management. /p /lilipSupplier Quality Assurance experience. /p /lilipOrganizational and planning skills /p /lilipAble to understand PL / financials. /p /lilipProficient in Microsoft Office /p /lilipIf applicable: English bilingual, business conversation. /p /lilipIf applicable: Experience managing Nuclear Quality program according to the corresponding standards. /p /lilipIf applicable: Past experience using SAP/ORACLE (depending on the site ERP) /p /li /ul pbuDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: /u /b /p ullipManufacturing Quality Experience /p /lilipISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor /p /lilipMaster Black Belt Certification and Experience /p /li /ul pbuEmployment Type: /u /b Full time /p pbuPercentage of Approximate Travel Required: /u /b up to 20% /p pbuLocation: /u /b Hiring Factory/Site /p
