Infrastructure Investment Manager

We are working with a leading mid-market infrastructure investor looking to hire an Investment Manager into its Paris-based infrastructure team.

The platform is an established investor across the European infrastructure market, with a strong track record of investing in and building businesses across key infrastructure sectors including energy transition, transport, digital infrastructure, utilities and social infrastructure. The team focuses on mid-market opportunities where it can take an active role in developing platforms and creating long-term value.

This is a hands-on role within a high-performing investment team, offering exposure across the full investment lifecycle, from origination and due diligence through to transaction execution and ongoing portfolio management. The role provides significant responsibility across both new investments and existing portfolio companies, with the opportunity to work closely with senior investment professionals and management teams.

The role:

• Build and review detailed financial models to assess investment opportunities and support transaction execution
• Lead and support the analysis and execution of infrastructure investments across sectors including energy transition, transport, digital infrastructure, utilities and social infrastructure
• Prepare investment committee materials, transaction presentations and financial analysis
• Coordinate and contribute to commercial, financial, legal and technical due diligence processes
• Support the origination and evaluation of new investment opportunities, including sector research and market analysis
• Work closely with portfolio companies and asset management teams to monitor performance and identify value creation opportunities
• Work alongside senior investment professionals throughout the full investment lifecycle, with increasing responsibility for transactions and portfolio assets

Candidate profile:

• 4–8 years' experience gained in investment banking, infrastructure investing, private equity or a combination of these
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in infrastructure, energy, real assets or related sectors
• Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities
• Strong transaction execution experience, ideally with exposure to M&A, project finance or infrastructure investments
• Commercial mindset with a genuine interest in infrastructure and long-term investing
• Ability to work effectively in a lean, entrepreneurial team and take ownership of workstreams
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders
• French not required but fluency in a European language is desired
