Site Construction Manager – Chemical / Petrochemical Industry📍 Location: La Rochelle, France 📅 Start: ASAP 📄 Long-term assignment – until August 2027Capefront Energies is looking for an experienced Site Construction Manager to support a major industrial project within the chemical / petrochemical sector in La Rochelle.The position requires a strong field-oriented Construction Manager capable of taking overall responsibility for site construction activities in a multidisciplinary and high-HSE industrial environment.Main ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate overall construction activities on siteSupervise multidisciplinary construction teams, contractors and subcontractorsCoordinate new-build and revamping/brownfield activitiesEnsure construction activities are performed in accordance with project requirements, drawings, specifications and applicable regulationsMonitor construction progress, schedule, priorities and productivityManage interfaces between the different construction disciplinesCoordinate co-activity and work fronts on an operating industrial siteEnsure compliance with HSE requirements and French site regulationsMonitor quality of works and follow up inspections, punch lists and corrective actionsParticipate in construction meetings and provide regular progress reportingCoordinate with Engineering, Project Management, HSE, Quality and other project stakeholdersSupport pre-commissioning, commissioning and handover activitiesFollow contractors' scope of work and contractual obligationsRequired ProfileMinimum 10 years of significant experience in industrial constructionProven experience as Construction Manager / Site Construction Manager or equivalentStrong experience within the chemical, petrochemical, Oil & Gas or process industrySignificant experience in both new construction and revamping/brownfield projectsStrong multidisciplinary construction background: piping, mechanical, civil/structural, E&I or TCEDemonstrated experience managing contractors and multidisciplinary site teamsGood knowledge of construction planning, progress monitoring, quality and HSEExperience in pre-commissioning / commissioning phasesStrong understanding of French HSE regulations and high-risk industrial environmentsFrench: fluent/mandatoryEnglish: professional working proficiencyGIES, ATEX and relevant site safety certifications are mandatory (GIES ATEX ECHAFAUDAGES)
