Founded 20 years ago, Nutraveris is a Regulatory & Scientific Consulting firm specializing in health nutrition. The company supports manufacturers in ensuring the regulatory compliance and scientific substantiation of their products, primarily for the European Union and U.S. markets.
Position overview
As part of our continued growth, we are recruiting a Scientific Affairs Specialist (Toxicology) to join the Scientific Department of Nutraveris.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
· Conducting scientific literature monitoring and surveillance.
· Preparing scientific dossiers supporting the safety of ingredients used in the health and nutrition sector.
· Developing regulatory and scientific submissions, including:
o Health claim dossiers
o Novel Food applications
o FSMP dossiers
o GRAS and NDI notifications
o Food additive dossiers
o Other related submissions
· Designing clinical study protocols and toxicity testing programs and coordinating their implementation with external partners (universities, CROs, etc.).
· Providing technical and scientific support to the commercial team.
Candidate profile:
· PhD, Master's degree, or Engineering degree in Nutrition, Physiology, Metabolism, Toxicology, or a related field.
· Strong knowledge of toxicological risk assessment is essential.
· Good understanding of the dietary supplement and human nutrition market. Knowledge of regulatory procedures or of food manufacturing process would be an advantage.
· 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
· Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proactive mindset, ability to work independently, and team spirit.
· Fluent English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required due to the international nature of the position
