Job Description

Vallourec is looking for a TMS Product Development Manager to join its headquarters in Meudon (Paris, France)

As part of the continued growth of its Tubular Management Services (TMS) business, Vallourec is seeking a TMS Product Development Manager to lead the development, industrialization, and deployment of innovative products and solutions supporting OCTG services worldwide.

The successful candidate will play a key role in transforming customer requirements and operational challenges into market-ready solutions. Working at the intersection of Business Development, Operations and R&D, the TMS Product Development Manager will drive innovation projects while ensuring technical feasibility, operational efficiency and business value.

This position offers a unique opportunity to combine product development, project leadership, technical innovation and stakeholder management within a global industrial environment.

Position Context

As TMS continues to strengthen its position as a key differentiating service within Vallourec's OCTG business, the TMS Product Development Manager will play a central role in developing innovative products and solutions designed to improve operational efficiency, safety, sustainability and customer value.

The position offers exposure to a broad range of technical, operational and business topics, requiring close collaboration with Business Development ("Win It"), Operations ("Do It"), R&D teams and other stakeholders across the organization.

Projects may range from the development of new operational tools and equipment to the enhancement of existing products and services. The role requires a strong project management mindset, the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and a passion for bringing innovative industrial solutions to life.

Main Responsibilities

Lead Product Development Initiatives

• Lead the development and implementation of new TMS products and solutions from concept through deployment.
• Partner with Business Development teams to identify customer needs and translate them into innovative product initiatives.
• Manage a portfolio of product development and innovation projects aligned with the TMS strategy.
• Drive testing, validation, industrialization and implementation activities for new solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and expansion of Vallourec's TMS offering globally.

Coordinate Product Development Activities with R&D

• Act as a key interface between TMS and R&D teams.
• Coordinate product development activities and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and according to business objectives.
• Monitor project milestones, budgets, deliverables and development roadmaps.
• Facilitate collaboration between technical, operational and business stakeholders.
• Support the successful transition from development to deployment.

Lead Cross-Functional Projects

• Coordinate stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies.
• Lead project reviews and steering committees.
• Ensure alignment between Business Development, Operations and R&D teams.
• Monitor project performance, timelines, budgets and profitability.
• Support value creation through effective project governance and execution.

Support Business Growth

• Support technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders when required.
• Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enhance customer value and operational performance.
• Participate in the definition of value propositions for new products and services.
• Help strengthen Vallourec's competitive position through continuous innovation and operational excellence.

Profile

• Master's degree from a leading Engineering School or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Product Development, Industrial Project Management, Product Innovation or New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Previous experience in an international industrial environment is a strong advantage.
• Experience within Oil & Gas, Energy, Industrial Equipment, Manufacturing or related industries is highly desirable.
• Fluent English is mandatory. French is required.

Technical Skills

• Strong product development and industrial project management capabilities.
• Experience managing industrial products or technical solutions throughout their lifecycle.
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
• Experience working closely with R&D teams and driving innovation initiatives.
• Good understanding of industrialization and product development processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of OCTG products and Tubular Management Services would be an advantage.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process consists of three stages:

1. An initial TEAMS interview with a Talent Acquisition Manager to introduce Vallourec and discuss your background and motivations.
2. A second interview, either virtually or onsite, with the Hiring Manager.
3. A final interview, either virtually or onsite, with the N+2 and/or a peer.

This process may evolve depending on the position and geographical scope. An onsite interview will always be included.
