Human Resources Specialist


Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for basic HR operations and query handling for the SSC (Shared Service Center) in France, including onboarding, offboarding, transfer, contracts, attendance, benefit management and expense settlement.

2. In charge of monthly payroll processing for French employees, including salary calculation, social security declarations (DSN), and payroll-related reporting. Ensure compliance with French labor law and collective agreements (Convention Collective).

3. Coordinate with external payroll vendors, accounting teams, and French social security/tax authorities to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery. Handle payroll-related employee inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

4. Manage French statutory attendance and leave tracking, including congés payés, RTT, maladie, maternité/paternité, and other statutory leaves. Ensure alignment with French labor regulations and company policies.

5. Understand the service scope and responsible business modules; skilled at analyzing client issues and pain points, identifying needs, proposing improvement suggestions, driving implementation, and enabling regional HRGs and business teams.

6. Participate in regional project-based work, including cross-functional collaboration with IT, administration, procurement, and other departments. Support HR process standardisation and SOP development for the France entity.


Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or above, with 1-3 years of experience in HR operations or payroll roles; experience in an HR Shared Service Center or French payroll processing is strongly preferred.

2. Proficient in French as a working language (both written and spoken), with the ability to handle payroll documents, employment contracts, DSN declarations, and social security/tax correspondence in French. Able to communicate effectively in basic English.

3. Presentable with strong interpersonal skills; patient, service-oriented, and a good team player.

4. Strong coordination and communication skills; capable of identifying additional business scenarios and collaborating across functions to solve problems.

5. Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; well-versed in basic business skills, techniques, and processes; has a sense of standardization and is familiar with SOPs, including the ability to output.

6. Detail-oriented with strong numerical sensitivity; comfortable working with payroll calculations, statutory compliance deadlines, and multi-party coordination.

7. Able to embrace change with a positive attitude, work well under pressure, and adapt to the fast-paced demands of internet platform businesses.
