Contract Commercial Attorney – Remote | Flexible Hours

Location: Remote in France

We are seeking experienced Contract Attorneys licensed in France to join a modern, technology-driven legal platform supporting fast-growing companies with high-quality legal expertise on a project basis.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced commercial contracts lawyers looking for flexible, project-based legal work while maintaining control over their schedule and workload.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and redline a variety of commercial agreements
• Advise clients on contract terms, negotiation strategies, and legal risk exposure
• Deliver high-quality legal work with efficient turnaround times
• Support technology-focused legal matters including:
• SaaS agreements
• Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
• Vendor and supplier agreements
• NDAs and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
• Commercial terms and conditions
• Security and privacy-related addenda
• Cloud and technology agreements

Preferred Experience

• Commercial contract negotiations
• SaaS and technology agreements
• GDPR and data privacy matters
• AI and emerging technology agreements
• Vendor management and procurement contracts
• Public procurement or public-sector contracting exposure within Europe
• Independent legal advisory work

Required Qualifications

• Licensed attorney in good standing in France
• 5+ years of experience handling commercial contracts
• Background at a top-tier law firm or as in-house counsel
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
• Ability to work independently and manage fast turnaround timelines
• Professional liability/malpractice insurance required

• French public procurement regulations (CCP)
