Senior Commercial Operations Manager-

Hartmann Young are partnered with an established global organisation who specialise in Diabetes Care and Medical Devices. They are currently looking to expand their team in France with the addition of a Senior Manager to look after company Commercial Excellence & Operations.


The Role:

  • High-impact Commercial Excellence leadership role combining commercial strategy, analytics, and stakeholder influence.
  • Operate as a strategic business partner to Sales & Marketing leadership teams.
  • Translate complex commercial data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Influence senior stakeholders through data storytelling, market analysis, and commercially focused decision support.
  • Identify customer opportunities, target segments, and commercial growth priorities.
  • Support core business planning processes including Annual Operating Planning (AOP) and Long Range Planning (LRP).
  • Drive commercial performance reporting, analysis, and business insight generation.
  • Support sales incentive planning and territory optimisation initiatives.
  • Deliver reporting and recommendations that directly influence business performance and strategic direction.
  • Partner cross-functionally with commercial and regional teams across the organisation.
  • Combine hands-on analytical capability with a forward thinking commercial mindset and growth oriented approach.


The Person:

  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience within Commercial Excellence/Sales Operations alongside Business Insights/Strategic Analytics.
  • Have previous industry experience in any of the following: (MedTech, Diabetes Care, Pharma).
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience turning data into commercially compelling narratives.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced and evolving environments.
  • Strong strategic mindset with hands-on analytical capability.
  • Experience with Excel, PowerBi, Salesforce or other data visualisation and reporting tools are all highly desirable.
  • Academic backgrounds in Business/Economics/Other Data & Analytical-related disciplines are preferred, but not essential.
