We are partnering with a fast-growing, innovative life science company that is expanding its commercial footprint across Europe. To support this next phase, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to take full ownership of France and Belgium.



This is a role for someone who doesn’t just want to sell — but wants to build, shape, and grow a territory.


What you’ll be doing

You’ll act as the driving force behind new business in your region, leading the entire commercial journey from first conversation to long-term partnership.

  • Build and execute a strategic plan for France & Belgium
  • Identify and win new customers across biotech, pharma, and academia
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting to closing deals
  • Lead technical and consultative discussions with scientific stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with internal experts to deliver tailored solutions
  • Develop long-term relationships and grow existing accounts
  • Represent the company at conferences, events, and client meetings
  • Travel across your territory (~50%) to stay close to your market


What we’re looking for

  • Fluent in French and English
  • Strong academic background in Biology (Biophysics is a plus)
  • Proven experience in business development or sales within life sciences / scientific instrumentation
  • Comfortable selling into biotech, pharma, and academic environments
  • Experience with technologies like SPR, BLI or similar is a strong advantage
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, hunter mentality
  • Strong communication skills and a consultative approach
  • Based in France or Belgium (ideally near a major travel hub)
