QC Civil Inspector

Position Title: Civil Quality Control (QC) Inspector

Work Location: France (on-site)

Sector: Oil & Gas

For a major client, we are looking for a Civil Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join the technical team for the quality control and monitoring of civil and structural works on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement specific Quality Control (QC) procedures for civil works;
• Perform field inspections, material testing, and witness tests as required by the quality control plans;
• Prepare technical reports and quality records in compliance with project procedures and design specifications;
• Monitor and control measuring and testing equipment to ensure accuracy and proper calibration;

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent technical diploma;
• 5 years of experience in construction inspection procedures, document compilation, and civil/structural system turnover;
• Professional proficiency in French (minimum) and fluency in English;
• Must already hold EU citizenship or a valid work permit/residency allowing work in France;

Preferential Qualifications

• Previous experience in the Oil & Gas sector or on large-scale energy infrastructure projects;
