About the position:
As an Expert Electrotechnician in the Customer Service department, specializing in labelling for Omnia Technologies France, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of the Group's equipment. As a promoter of the company's products, you will be responsible for the installation, diagnostics, and preventive and corrective maintenance of machines and various equipment. You possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and a customer service orientation.
Your mission:
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems encountered by customers, both independently and as part of a team, and propose technical solutions.
- Provide preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as training on machine operation during installations.
- Proactively anticipate and propose solutions to meet future customer needs.
- Systematically complete service reports in logbooks and/or on PCs/tablets.
- Share your experience and field feedback with all customer service representatives to ensure continuous improvement in your role.
- Guarantee the conformity of completed work, in terms of quality and deadlines, as well as the proper care of equipment.
- Apply safety rules such as wearing PPE and adhering to prevention plans at customer sites.
- Verify parts before each service call and participate collaboratively in the maintenance and organization of the premises, particularly the workshop.
- Managing the stock of materials for its vehicle according to company rules.
- Responsible for communicating with the technical coordinator to update or modify the procedures for each machine.
- Proficient in computer tools and knowledge of automation – it is sometimes necessary to load or modify a program with the support of specialized automation engineer.
Your profile:
- Minimum of a two-year post-secondary degree in electrical engineering.
- Minimum intermediate level of English.
- Strong knowledge in the following areas of expertise: mechanics, pneumatics, electricity, and automation are priorities, hydraulic knowledge is a plus.

- Experience with high-speed labelling machines in a similar sector is required
- Experience with bottling machines such as depalletizers, washers, fillers, cappers, capping machines, and palletizers is a significant asset.

- Analytical skills, strong organizational and time management abilities.
